BUDDY ATTICK PARK MASTER PLAN
The City has contracted with Mahan Rykiel and Associates to update the 1992 Buddy Attick Park Master Plan. The City invites community input in developing a system wide approach in evaluating Buddy Attick Park in order to determine goals, policies, guidelines and achievable strategies. The Buddy Attick Park Master Plan is meant to create a vision for the future utilization of the park in order to guide the City regarding the implementation of desired improvements in the future while remaining sensitive to the natural environment.

"The report provides a vision and accompanying strategy for the future management of Buddy Attick Park. The Master Plan is intended to provide guidelines for short- and long-term physical improvements, protection of the park’s natural resources, and improvement of management practices, including operational and fiscal management practices. The report and associated Master Plan provide a roadmap for the future of the park, enabling the city to implement distinct projects over time while maintaining a consistent approach to meet overall goals and objectives.
Additionally, the document will allow the City to clearly communicate these goals and objectives to community members, potential funding sources, and other interested parties. This report [(when finalized) will be] a replacement of the 1992 Buddy Attick Park Master Plan, which was approved by the City of Greenbelt to implement policies, guidelines, and maintenance plans for the park."
