On Saturday, October 9, the Crazy Quilt Festival will take place in the Roosevelt Center in Greenbelt, MD.  This free, outdoor music festival is rain or shine and starts at 11am.  The band schedule is 11:00am-12:00pm: Community Drum Circle with Katy Gaughan and Friends, 12:30-1:30pm Proverbs Reggae Band, 2:00-3:00pm Tower Green (renn faire music), 3:30-4:30pm Greg Meyer Project (jazz), 5:00-6:00pm The Wharf Rats (Grateful Dead music) and 6:30-8:00pm The Goodfellas (Beatles music).  Crazy Quilt Festival is sponsored by The New Deal Cafe and FONDCA - Friends of New Deal Cafe Arts with the support of the City of Greenbelt and celebrates the eclectic music that is featured at the New Deal Cafe.  So bring a chair and your dancing shoes and spend the day listening to great music with community!  For more information or to see festival updates and/or schedule changes, visit www.newdealcafe.com.
