The City of Greenbelt has been designated as the recipient of just under $23 million in funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) to respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency and its impacts. As part of the process of determining how to invest these funds, the City has engaged in extensive community outreach and engagement effort to understand how the pandemic has impacted the community and to solicit ideas for investing the funds.

What is the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)?

The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) was passed by Congress in March 2021 to aid in the economic recovery and emergency response to COVID-19.
