Green Ridge House (GRH) is a HUD Section 8–202 apartment for seniors age 62 and older, located at 22 Ridge Road, Greenbelt, MD and owned by the City of Greenbelt. Green Ridge House has 101 1-bedroom apartments. Amenities include: on-site beauty shop, greenhouse, exercise room, computer room, social activities, library, and a Service Coordinator office to link residents with benefits and resources.

Green Ridge House Service Coordinator

The Service Coordinator at Green Ridge House assists residents with identifying, locating, and acquiring the services and supports necessary to become and/or remain self-sufficient.

These duties include, but are not limited to:

• Referral services
• Evaluation of health, psychological, and social needs
• Educating residents on available services, application procedures, client rights, and providing advocacy as necessary
• Organizing support programs with community events
