Free Afterschool Halloween event
for families and children of all ages!
Strut your stuff down the soul train line! Show off your Halloween or cosplay costume*. Trick or treat with the Roosevelt Center merchants, and enjoy spooky short films at the Old Greenbelt Theatre! No pre-registration required.
This event celebrates creative transformation, while drawing inspiration from the classic children's book "Where the Wild Things Are". Keep an eye out for Max, sovereign of the Wild Things, in her white wolf suit. If she is especially impressed by your costume artistry or your spirited dance moves, she may invite you to be knighted! If summoned, kneel politely for your tapping ceremony!
