October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Each year, the Greenbelt Police Department hosts a purple lightbulb giveaway so residents can light up their porches purple to show support to survivors. 

Come and pick up a purple lightbulb at the Greenbelt Police Department on October 3, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
