Greenbelt CARES will be offering two Youth UNITE (Unique Noteworthy Information Towards Excellence) sessions in January 2023. These information sessions are geared towards providing Greenbelt youth with key life skills and information for career advancement, education, and mental health needs.
Session topics will include:
- Employment Qualifications and attributes critical to employers
- Experience for youth
- Connection to education
- Career exploration and skill development
- Mental Health Key terms - Prevalence, promotion, and prevention
- Treatment options
- Financial Empowerment and Literacy
- Facts about youth financial knowledge and capability
- Financing higher education employment programs
The session time will be - 5:30pm-6:30 pm and will be hosted via Zoom.
