2024 GHI Pet & Family Disaster Preparedness Event

First responders and emergency response teams will be available to discuss how to make sure your family is prepared for an emergency, talk about their roles during emergencies, and share lessons learned responding to emergencies and disasters. Learn about resources and items that you might want to include as you prepare for emergencies.

WAGS volunteers will be available to take photos of your family with pets against a photo backdrop. They will also explain why you should always have a current photo of your family that includes your pets.
