Prince George's County Small and Minority Business Community! Please join me for a fall community update on economic opportunities for small and minority-owned businesses in our county. I am hosting a quarterly Small and Minority Business Community Roundtable Meeting on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, from 1PM to 3PM at the Wayne K. Curry County Administration Building, 1301 McCormick Drive, Largo, MD 20774, in the First Floor Technology Lounge. Please arrive by 12:45PM. Free and open to the public. Please register below!
Our guest speakers will be the newly appointed Director of the Prince George's County Office of Procurement, Ms. Pamela Dickerson, and representatives of FSC First, the county's primary organization for providing economic grants and loans to small & minority businesses in the County. Ms. Dickerson will discuss the current and future plans to expand county contracting opportunities for local small and minority owned businesses. FSC First will provide an update on the financial assistance programs its staff administers, including an update on the county's new Small Business Growth and Capital Fund. The presentations will be followed by a Q&A session for questions from you, the audience.
These Small and Minority Business Community Roundtable meetings will be hosted by my office on a quarterly basis. Please join me on October 23rd as we work to build a stronger small and minority business community and grow generational wealth in Prince George's County!
