Join us from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 2 at our Greenbelt Financial Service Center, and we'll help you shred your personal documents safely, securely, and for FREE!
Our volunteers will transport boxes of your documents directly from your vehicle to our mobile shredding truck, where they will be securely shredded on-site. Please note that we cannot accept bulk commercial documents; personal shredding only, please!

¹Must attend the Greenbelt Shred Day and be at least 18 years old to enter drawing. No purchase necessary. There is a limit of one (1) entry per person. Individuals who submit multiple entries or an incomplete entry will be disqualified. Lafayette Federal is not responsible for any entries which are incomplete, submitted late, misdirected, lost, or illegible. On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, Lafayette Federal will conduct a random drawing and select four (4) winners from all qualified entries submitted on November 2, 2024. All prizes will be awarded. List of winners will be maintained at the Norman Cohen Building of Lafayette Federal Headquarters. The odds of winning depend on the total number of qualified entries submitted. Lafayette Federal will notify prizewinners personally by either telephone or email. It shall be the responsibility of entrants to provide a valid telephone number and valid email address with their entry submission in order to be eligible to collect the prize. Lafayette Federal Credit Union employees, family members, and volunteers are not eligible. Your savings are federally insured to at least $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration, an agency of the U.S. government.
