Braden Athletic Complex

Greenbelt Recreation is pursuing the commission of new free-standing public art in conjunction with the upcoming renovation of the Braden Athletic Complex located behind the Greenbelt Youth Center. Learn more about this project in the Request for Qualifications (call for artists). This commission is made possible through the availability of federal ARPA funds.

Sign up here to receive a Zoom link for the virtual public meeting on Tuesday, 12/17.This meeting will include presentations from artists who are finalists in the selection process. The artists will mainly be presenting examples of their past work; the design of the new work will be developed at a later stage of the process by the artist selected for this project. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions in the meeting and share their thoughts and preferences in an online feedback survey. Thank you for participating!
