The Greenbelt Dance Studio is a Greenbelt Recreation program which offers high-quality, affordable dance instruction to children, teens and adults. We are dedicated to enriching the lives of our students through the joyful art of dance. We look forward to dancing with you!

Location

Our beautiful studio is located on the ground floor, Room 10, of the Greenbelt Community Center at 15 Crescent Road, Greenbelt, MD 20770.  

Classes Offered

We offer a wide variety of classes for all ages year round with weekly classes meeting September to May and summer camp programs June-August. Our regular course offerings include: Dance Together for ages 1-3 (with adult); Creative Movement for ages 3-5 and multiple levels of ballet, tap, musical theater jazz, hip hop and contemporary ages 7-Teen. For adult beginners we offer ballet, tap and modern classes on a rotation throughout the year.

Registration

Perform with us!

All of our classes culminate in an low-stress in-studio performance for family and friends on the last day of class. For young performers ages 5-Teen who are ready for a more formal performance experience, we offer Dance Performance Club which meets on Fridays afternoons during our Fall session. Dancers rehearse every week of the session in preparation for our annual main stage production in mid-December. The program features 20-40 dancers performing a full range of dance styles. There is no audition but space is limited; registration is first-come, first-serve. 

Please note that all performers must be concurrently enrolled in a weekly dance technique class unless a waiver has been granted by the Director prior to registration.
