This facility is overseen by Greenbelt Animal Control/Police Department - It is now open with new rules and new permits.
Established to help promote responsible pet ownership and enhance canine training, behavior, and safe exercise opportunities, this facility is the first of its kind in the State of Maryland. For operating guidelines and rules for usage, call 301-474-6124 or email animalcontrol@greenbeltmd.gov
The dog park is for the use and enjoyment of all residents and non-residents of Greenbelt, with a valid permit only. You must pay a fee and submit a Dog Park Use Application before using the facility.
Fee per household: Residents - $10.00 | Non-Residents - $30.00
All documentations, including the application and fee must be submitted in person to an Animal Control Officer. An appointment must be scheduled during this time. Call Animal Control at 301-474-6124 or via email at animalcontrol@greenbeltmd.gov to schedule your appointment.
Payments acceptable: Cash or Check
Checks must be payable to: Greenbelt Animal Control
List of documents needed to bring during your appointment for a Dog Park Permit:
- Proof of Residency
- Proof of Vaccinations (Rabies and DHLPPV)
- Proof of County License
