Available options that exist to manage deer in Maryland:

The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is dedicated to assisting Marylanders with the resolution of deer issues. To facilitate the dissemination of deer management information to the public, the Department has created a “Deer Damage Management Techniques” webpage

“An Evaluation Of Deer Management Options" evaluates the various deer management options, and is a great resource on this topic. It was collectively developed by the New England Chapter of The Wildlife Society and the Northeast Deer Technical Committee, and should prove useful to you and your community in deciding which deer management option(s) will fit your needs.
