All persons use the pools and Fitness Center at their own risk.

No one will be allowed in the swimming area unless the pool is officially open and a lifeguard is on duty. Entry upon the pool premises when it is not open for public use is punishable by fines or imprisonment or both.

Admission fees must be paid by non-pass-holders (children 1 year and older) upon each entry to the pool facility. Residents will be asked to show proof of residency (driver’s license, lease or mortgage papers).

During the summer season, the facility restricts entrance to pass-holders, residents and their guests on weekends and holidays. (Limit of three guests; pass-holders and residents must sign them in, remain in the facility with them and are responsible for them at all times).

Refunds are not given under any circumstance. This specifically includes, but is not limited to: inclement weather, improper swimming attire and/or expulsion for disciplinary reasons.

Children 11 and under entering the pool must be within sight and accompanied by a responsible person 16 years of age or older in appropriate swim attire (children 12 years of age and over are allowed to enter by themselves).

Non-swimmers and all children age five (5) and under in the water must be directly supervised by a responsible person 16 years of age or older in appropriate swim attire.

Use of the baby pool (outdoor) shall be limited to children five years of age or under and their parent or guardian. Supervision of children in the pool is the responsibility of the adult bringing them into the pool enclosure. Children must not be left unattended.

Food or refreshments may be consumed only in the observation area and indoor or outdoor vending areas. All refuse and waste papers must be deposited in designated receptacles.

Groups of children entering the pool must be directly supervised by an adult, with one adult for every five children.

The Recreation Department is NOT RESPONSIBLE for personal property left on the pool deck, in the Fitness Center, or in the locker room.

Pool patrons are responsible for their own valuables. Lockers are available; patrons must bring their own locks. Valuables may not be checked with the cashiers, pool or fitness staff.

Patrons who wish to enter into the pool areas and/or Fitness Center must pay an admission fee. (This includes anyone who does not wish to swim.)

Pets are not permitted in the facility. An exception will be made for a seeing-eye dog for the visually impaired.

Glass containers are not permitted in the facility.

Smoking is prohibited anywhere in the Indoor/Outdoor Pools or Fitness wing facilities.

Alcoholic beverages and drugs are not permitted in the facility. Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted in the facility or in the surrounding areas.

No person shall conduct themselves in the pool facilities in such a manner as to jeopardize the safety and health of themselves and others. The use of abusive or profane language shall be grounds for expulsion.

Loitering will not be permitted on the pool grounds or within the facility.

Prior to entering the facility, any patron having a special disability must inform the Management of his physical condition.

Any injury occurring in the facility must be reported to the Pool Staff.

The front desk/office telephone and public address equipment may be used only to deliver messages of an emergency nature.

Employees are the only persons allowed in the staff room, filter room, mechanical room, storage rooms, offices, and behind front and guard desk.
